(Another hot summer in Imperial County)…Above normal temperatures are expected throughout August.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, cool centers could not open this year. The County of Imperial says the Cool Centers have been replaced with Summer Hydration/Comfort Stations. They are located at the Calipatria County Library Branch, the Heber County Library Branch, Niland Fire Station, Ocotillo Fire Station, Palo Verde Fire Station, Salton City County Library Branch, Seeley Fir Station, and Winterhaven Fire Station. The Stations are also available in the Cities of Brawley, El Centro and Imperial. Check the City websites for the locations.
