(Carmel Fire update)….Imperial County has a Strike Team in Monterey County.

The latest update was issued by Cal Fire Thursday morning. The wind-blown fire has now burned 4,285 acres and is still zero percent contained. Several residents have been evacuated and some Roads remain closed. The fire has destroyed 3 structures and is threatening 311 more. No injuries have been reported. The fire was first reported August 18th.
