(Narcotics on a train)….A canine officer and his dog were screening railroad cars.
The Customs and Border Protection detector dog alerted on the area above the railcar wheels. The area was searched and the officer found 69 packages of methamphetamine and 15 pounds of heroin. The meth weighed 258 pounds and was valued at $309,600. The 15 pounds of heroin was valued at around $126,000. The narcotics were seized. No arrests were reported.
