Operations of parks and recreational facilities in El Centro are changing.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the City of El Centro is adapting to the new State and County Health Orders. Parks that are unfenced such as Bucklin Park will remain open to facilitate walking and running in the park. New restrictions have been placed on park users to ensure the safety and well-being of the community. The use of face coverings at Bucklin Park or any other city park or retention basin is mandatory. The ramadas , playground and exercise equipment at Bucklin Park remain closed. The City will post signs requiring that all users walk counterclockwise. Additionally , playing soccer or any contact sport at Bucklin Park or any other city park or retention basin is prohibited.
