A citizen found several packages of methamphetamine on a Calexico city street.

According to the U. S. Border Patrol , at about 6:30 p.m. Monday a citizen reported suspicious packages near Blair Avenue and First Street. Border Patrol agents picked up the packages and determined they contained about 1 kilogram of meth with a street value of nearly $5,000. The drugs were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
