(Probation Services Week)…It was recognized by the Board of Supervisors Tuesday.
Chief Probation Officer Dan Prince said this year’s annual Probation Services Week will be next wk. The special week honors probation professionals who work to keep communities safe. At their meeting this week, the County Board of Supervisors approved a proclamation honoring the professionals who work in pretrial, probation, and parole services. Assistant Chief Probation Officer Elizabeth Sais said Probation is about motivating behavioral change to ensure public safety. She said, additionally, probation staff have been a force throughout the community helping those in need, including the Meals on Wheels program and Homeless Task Force during the current pandemic.
