El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents say the incident occurred at around 5:32 Thursday morning, when a Remote Video Surveillance System operator notified agents of packages being thrown over the International Border wall from Mexico into the United States. An agent responded and found the packages near the intersection of Second Street and Andrade Avenue in Calexico. The agent took the packages to the Calexico Border Patrol Station. The packages contained 2.48 pounds of methamphetamine, valued at around $4712. The packages were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
