A Local Assistance Center to assist individuals displaced by Sunday's fire in Niland has opened.

The Center is a one-stop-shop with critical government and support services for residents impacted by the devastating fire. Representatives from the Imperial County Department of Social Services , Public Health Department , Behavioral Health Services and Workforce and Economic Development Services will be joined by personnel from Clinicas de Salud , Comite Civico del Valle , Campesinos Unidos and the American Red Cross. The Assistance Center is in Wirt Auditorium on the campus of Calipatria High School. For more information the public can call 442 - 265 - 6060.
