Strong gusty winds and blowing sand and dust are expected today and Monday.

The National Weather Service forecast calls for windy and dry conditions for the Imperial Valley due to a strong weather system moving through the region. The good news is that this will also mean cooler temperatures for the next several days. West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph are expected. The wind advisory is in effect for the Imperial Valley through to San Diego unit late Monday night.
