(Assembly passes Homelessness measures)….They were announced by Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia.
The Assemblyman said addressing homelessness and keeping California safe and sheltered remains a priority. Four Assembly bills have been approved. AB 3300 is the Homelessness: California Access to Housing and Services Act. It establishes the California Access to Housing fund and appropriates $2 billion each year to the fund to address Homelessness. AB 1845 Office to End Homelessness, organizes a Governor’s Office to end homelessness. AB 2746; State Funding Accountability for Homelessness. AB 3269; State and Local agencies homelessness plan. It create the Office of the Housing and Homelessness Inspector General to create greater accountability for state and local actions to address Homelessness. All four bills now move on to the State Senate
