(Calexico City Council waste little time)….They made a decision at their Wednesday meeting

. The Council filled a vacancy on the City Council. The vacancy was created last week after David Romero resigned his seat. Wednesday evening the Council named Camilo Garcia to fill the vacancy. Garcia will serve the remaining two years on Romero’s term. Garcia works for the Imperial County Workforce Development Office. Legally, the City Council had until August to fill the vacated seat.
