There will be a " Complete Your Census 2020 " Caravan Friday.

Representatives from the City of El Centro , Imperial County , and members of the Imperial County Complete Count Committee will caravan through various neighborhoods in El Centro to remind residents to complete their census forms. As of June 16 the response rate for the State of California was 62.5 per cent , Imperial County 54.5 per cent and the City of El Centro at 60.6 per cent. At stake for the community is not only congressional representation but also the local share of federal dollars allocated annually. The Census Caravan will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday , June 19 as a reminder to complete your Census 2020 by the extended deadline of October 31, 2020.
