A Monday afternoon traffic accident resulted in the spilling of some hazardous materials.

The accident occurred at about 5:24 p.m. Monday at Huff and Adair Roads. According to the California Highway Patrol a tractor-trailer loaded with drywall was involved and the damaged big rig began leaking engine fluids.  A tow company was called to remove the wreckage and a HazMat team was called in to contain the spill. Huff Road was closed through Tuesday afternoon to clean up the area.
