(El Centro City Council Special Meeting)....The meeting is to interview the 8 candidates to fill a City Council seat.

The seat was left vacant by the resignation of Tomas Oliva. The 8 candidates will be interviewed during the special meeting Wednesday. The meeting will be held at the El Centro City Council Chambers at 5:30 pm. The candidates include Edgard Garcia, Jason Jackson, Cheryl Viegas Walker, Richard Lopez, Michael Crankshaw, David Dhillon, Raymond Loera and Carlos Ramirez. On April 21st the new councilmember will be announced Also during the special meeting the City Council will have a reorganization to select a new Mayor for the remainder of the year.
