The Imperial County Office of Education confirmed that Imperial County Public Schools will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year.

The ICOE announcement is in alignment with the recommendations from the Governor and the State Superintendent of Schools. According to ICOE , while school facilities are closed , the school year is not over. County educators are working to serve students and families through distance learning and providing meals for students and that will continue.
