(Push for eviction ban)…A letter has been put together by state legislators

. Among them, Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia. The letter urges Governor Gavin Newsom to build on his March 16th Executive order and implement an immediate moratorium on evictions, statewide, for the duration of the corona virus/COVID 19 emergency. Garcia said with the Stay at Home Order in effect, they cannot wait on over 500 cities and counties to adopt their own individual measures. He says too few have done so, and they must act now to protect the public health of the residents. He said Californians are already struggling to make ends meet. He said no one should be worried about being evicted in the midst of a pandemic.
