The results of the Imperial Irrigation District Division 2 race are still too tight to call.
The leader remains JB Hamby who has garnered 2,091 votes for 41.6% of the total. The race for the number two finisher and a spot on the November ballot shows incumbent Bruce Kuhn trailing Ryan Childers. Kuhn has 1,294 votes which translates to 25.74% while Childers has 26.52% or 1,333 of the votes cast. The candidate who finishes second will face off against Hamby in the November General Election. According to the Imperial County Elections Department , as of 4:00 p.m. March 23 , 880 ballots remain unprocessed of that number 613 are Provisional Ballots and 267 others a pending further review.
