In order to comply with federal, state and local COVID 19 guidelines and reduce the risk to senior participants, the Area Agency on Aging has closed all Senior Nutrition Congregate sites for dining until further notice. Participants will be receiving meals at their home addresses. Deliveries will be staggered throughout the week to be able to serve all clients. The Triple A is asking for patience while the transition is underway. The goal is to ensure seniors receive their daily meal, which is essential to their health and well-being, while following the recommendations from the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention and local health officials in regards to COVID 19. If a senior, 60 or older, is interested in signing up for this program, they are asked to contact Catholic Charities, the Senior Meal Provider, at 760-353-2748. In-home Delivered meal services will continue as scheduled. The Imperial County Public Administrators Office and Triple A offices are closed to the public.
