(El Centro to get another Park)…The Ground Breaking ceremony will be held November 7th.
The ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm. During the ceremony, City Officials will reveal the name of the new park. The Ground Breaking will be held at 1906 North Waterman Avenue, South of El Centro Fire Station #3. The Park will be funded from Measure P funds. It will include a 2-5 year old playground area, a5-12 year old playground area, an exercise equipment area, a bocce court area, sidewalks, grass area, picnic tables, fabric shades, lighting, drinking fountain, trees and 14 parking spaces. The total park area is 3 acres. The El Centro Mayor and Council members will participate in the Ground Breaking ceremony
