A motorcycle rider was fatally injured Tuesday afternoon.

The accident was reported at about 5:00 p.m. on the Borrego-Salton Seaway just east of the county line. The solo vehicle accident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol and the Imperial County Coroners Office. No other details have been released.
