(Ribbon Cutting Ceremony)….It will be this Friday.

The City Of El Centro is hosting the ceremony. It is to reveal the Stark Playground improvements. El Centro and Imperial Valley residents who frequent Stark Park for a variety of sporting events and family celebrations will now be able to enjoy new playground activities for the kids. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will begin at 3:30 Friday afternoon. The construction cost for the improvements was $103,000 and was funded through Measure P. That measure was approved by El Centro residents in November 2016, adding one half of one percent to the local sales tax to address major capital needs within the city. The project is part of the 2nd round of improvement projects.
