(Troops being sent to the Southwest Border)…The Pentagon made the announcement Sunday.

They said 3,750 troops would be sent to the US/Mexico border. The troops would be putting up another 150 miles of concertina wire and provide other support to Customs and Border Protection. Acting Defense Secretary said last week this action is part of phase two of the military mission ordered by the President. That mission has grown in size and length. Critics say it is a political ploy by the White House as President Trump seeks billions to build a border wall. Sunday’s announcement indicated the additional troops would last through September 30th at their new assignment. They did not say where along the southern border the troops would be assigned
