(The County Board of Supervisors meet Tuesday)..The public portion of the meeting begins at 9:30 in the morning.
Among the items on the agenda is a request to adjust the Counties ordinance that deals will the minimum wage. On January 1st the minimum wage in California increases to $12.00 per hour. County Human Resources is recommending the Board of Supervisor increase the Minimum Wage for County employees to $12.24 to $12.50 per hour. The Supervisors will also discuss approving a comment letter to the California Energy Commission regarding a workshop covering Lithium Recovery from Geothermal Brine. The Board meets in the Administration Center on Main Street in El Centro.
