(Panga full of illegal migrants)....It was found recently near San Clemente Island.

Long Beach Marine Unit responded to a report of a Panga near the back side of San Clemente Island. The San Diego Air and Marine Branch deployed an aircraft. The aircraft located the panga, and guided the Long Beach Unit to the vessel. The Customs and Border Protection and Marine Operations also deployed. They located the Panga and fired two warning shots to force the vessel to stop. Agents bordered the Panga and found it loaded with 21 illegal migrants. As they were taking the group into custodu, one man went into cardiac arrest.. Agents began CPR and coordinated an air lift with a Coast Guard Helicopter.. He was flown to UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was pronounced dead upon arrival.
