(Suspect extradited to Mexico)....Earlier this month, Border Patrol agents arrested the man at Brown Field in San Diego.

As agents process the man, he volunteered that he had a warrant for his arrest in Mexico. The Border Patrol contacted Mexican law enforcement. The Mexican authorities verified the warrant, saying the man was wanted for vehicle theft and was facing 5- 12 years in prison if convicted. A plan was negotiated, and the man was turned over to the Mexican authorities at the San Ysidro port of entry.
