(Imperial City Council meets this evening)....The Council will go into Closed session at 6 pm.

Open session follows. On the action agenda is an item to update the cities zoning ordinance to place safeguards and protect residents. The move is connected to the proposed Data Center. The city  has filed litigation against the county on issues pertaining to the data center. Imperial's action follows Calipatrias recent decision to intiate a 5 year moratorium on data centers within the Calipatria City Limits The Brawley City Council will discuss a one year moratorium at their meeting Tuesday.
