(Calexico 10 Theater is closing it's doors).....The City of Calexico has received official word from Metro Theaters.

Calexico 10 Theater will cease operation following it's final day of business on May 3rd. Metro Theaters says the decision to close the facility comes after ongoing industry and economic challenges that have made continued operations financially unsustainable. The company says it will began the process of closing down the building in the days immediately following the final day of operation. The City says they will assist Metro in making the transition as smooth as possible. Calexico officials say they have also started exploring opportunities for redevelopment and future use of the property.
