(Supervisors adopt two proclamations)....They recognized the month of September as National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.

The other proclamation the month as National Recovery Month. Both proclamations were presented to the board by the County Department of Behavioral Health, underscoring their commitment to raising awareness, promoting hope and healing, and supporting individuals and families affected by mental health challenges and substance use disorders. These efforts reflected the County's dedication to building a healthier, more compassionate community for all residents. The Supervisors took action on the proclamations at their meeting this week.
