The Imperial Police Department is looking for a pair of suspects who apparently attempted to install a skimming device.

Police released a picture of the pair who attempted to install the credit card skimming device at a local supermarket. Credit card skimming devices are attached to card readers at checkout stands and on ATM's and gas pumps or anywhere a credit card reader is used. The electronic skimmers steal the information on the card and allow the criminals to use that information. Skimmers have been detected on a number of gas pumps in the Imperial Valley over the past several years. A picture of the skimmer scammers is available on the KXO Facebook page.
