(Brawley City Council meets this evening)....The meeting starts at 5:30 pm.

The Council will go directly into closed session. The only item on the closed session agenda is the appointment of a City Manager. On the regular agenda, the council will discuss appointing Shirley Bonillas as an Extra Help Retired Annuitant to serve as Human Resources Extra Help effective July 8. Bonillas is the current. Human Resources Administrator. She is expected to retire soon. The council will discuss a 4-way stop at the intersection of South Eastern Avenue and I Street. They will also discuss the contract for the demolition of the Hinojosa Water Tower.
