(Minor Earthquake in the North County)...The US Geological Survey says the quake hit at 5:50 Thursday morning.

The magnitude 3 quake was centered 7 miles from Calipatria. No damage or injury has been reported. That quake was followed by a 2nd one. That quake, a magnitude 3.2 hit at 6:38 Thursday morning. It was centered near Coachella. Tere were no damage or injuries reported from that quake.
