Drivers will encounter delays as several road projects get underway.

The City of Imperial says that work on Aten Road between Shiloh Avenue and Old Highway 86 will begin on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. The work eastbound lanes of Aten Road will be affected due to the construction work. Traffic will remain open but motorists can expect delays. Access to businesses will be available. The project is expected to continue through Monday, February 10, 2025. 

The City of El Centro says that Danenberg Avenue between Farnsworth Lane and Dogwood Avenue will be closed to traffic beginning on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. The construction activity will involve the El Centro Southern Pump Station Project. This will improve wastewater system reliability and expand sewer access to the City of El Centro's southeast quadrant. As construction progresses, the road closure will expand to include Danenberg between 4th and Dogwood. The project will continue through Fall of 2025.
