A Strike Team from Imperial County has been sent to the Eaton Fire in Los Angeles County.

The Team consists of personnel and resources from Imperial County Fire, Holtville and Calipatria Fire Departments and a Type 6 engine with three personnel and a Battalion Chief from the El Centro Fire Department. The Eaton Fire started on January 7 and is growing rapidly. 

The City of Yuma Fire Department received a request for resources from California for the Pacific Palisades Fie. The request was for a specific apparatus with firefighting foam capability. The city dispatched an Engine Company  and four personnel to the Los Angeles area. The Yuma team is expected to serve in air operations. 

The Mutual Aid team sent to Yuma Tuesday evening returned Wednesday morning after providing support in structure protection.
