U. S. Border Patrol agents located a 6-year-old child that had ben reported missing in Texas.

On Wednesday, agents stopped a suspicious vehicle on westbound Interstate 8 near Buckman Springs Road. The driver, a 36-year-old woman, an adult female passenger and a 6-year-old child were in the vehicle. Agents confirmed the identities of the vehicle's occupants and learned that the driver had an active warrant from Fort Bend County, Texas, for interference with child custody involving the 6-year-old passenger. The driver was turned over to the United States Marshal Service. The child was placed with Child Protective Services pending reunification with her family.
