The public is invited to witness Elwood Pete Mellinger's vision of a Holtville Wetlands, 20 years in the making, come to fruition at the project site. The project site is down in the Alamo Riverbed, north of Zenos Road on the West Bank of the River. A symbolic release of Alamo River water will signify the project's near completion. The Wetlands will be a catalyst for river restoration and community development
