(City Of Imperial says a major street improvement program is underway)...The program is aimed at enhancing safety, accessibility, and overall transportation efficiency for residents and visitors.

The project began October 24th and is expected to be completed by November 15th. The focus is on renovating streets in the Sunset Ranch, Victoria Ranch and Wildfire Subdivisions. Also included in the project is 15th Street west of Highway 86, in front of Frank Wright Middle School, H Street from Barioni to 7th Street, Preble Road from Treshill to Aten Road, Myrtle Road from Wall Road to Aten, and La Brucherie Road from Aten to Industry Way. The project costs $3.4 million and includes several layers-grinding, leveling course, Asphalt Rubber Aggregate Membrane, slurry, and an Asphalt Rubber Hot Mix overlay
