(County Public Health kicks off Flu Vaccination campaign)...It started last week.

The Public Health Department held a clinic at Heber Elementary School District. It is part of the Departments 2024-2025 flu vaccination campaign. Individuals six months and older were vaccinated during the event to protect them against the seasonal flu. Public Health Officer, Doctor Stephen Munday says the Health Department strongly encourages all individuals who are eligible, to get their ful vaccine early to lessen their risk of contracting the flu this season and in preparation for the upcoming holidays. Flu vaccines are available at the Health Department by appointment or on a walk-in basis during regular work hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 5 pm, except on holidays. The cost of the vaccine is $2. Vaccines will also be offered at various locations around the county..
