(A month to be aware of pedestrians)....El Centro police is reminding motorists to slow down and be alert for people walking.

They say by always taking extra precautions, you can help protect pedestrians and reduce the risk of injuries or even crashes. The Department says walking should always be an easy and safe option for getting around the community.
