(Governor Newsom made the announcement).... The California Governor said Cal Trans was awarding $206 million for 149 local, clean transportation projects to reduce pollution, especially in disadvantaged communities across the state.

The recent funding brings the state's total investment in these projects to more than $1 billion in the last decade. The Imperial County Transportation Commission is receiving $520,353 for the Calexico Mobility on Demand project. The Commission will use the funds to operate the City of Calexico's zero emmission, micro transit program
