The Calipatria City Council meets Tuesday.

The meeting convenes in open session at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The council is expected to take action on a resolution approving the execution of an agreement to receive funding from the state. The funding, $1.5 million, is from the Regional Early Action Planning Grant Program and is to be used to complete the Delta Street Pump Station Improvement Project. The council will also look at creating an in-house planning department and also expected to approve the purchase of service trucks for the city fleet.
