A sprinkler system is credited with controlling a Sunday evening commercial fire.

The fire was reported at about 7:00 p.m. at the Alsco facility in Yuma. On arrival, firefighters found that the sprinkler system had activated and contained a fire in a large bundle of linen products. Fire personnel were able to extinguish the fire and prevent any further damage to the building or its contents. Cause of the fire remains under investigation. Business operations were not affected by the fire.
