(The Candidates forum planned for Thursday has been canceled)... The Republican Party of Imperial County and the C Project in Calexico announced the cancelation.

The reason is that not all candidates could attend. One of the two candidates for US Congress and one of the two candidates for State assembly District 36 have scheduling conflicts. Organizers say they will try to reschedule the forum for October 15. An announcement will be released if the date is confirmed.
