(Imperial Council Member named to League of California Cities Board of Directors)....The City of Imperial Announced Council member Dr. Ida Obeso Martinez has been elected to the League Board.

She will serve as Board Director and Division Representative for the League of California Cities, Imperial County Division. Her appointment took place on September 26, during the Division Dinner. In this role, she will work closely with Division officers to advocate for the interests of Imperial County cities and contribute to important policy discussions that impact the local communities. Obeso Martinez replaces Imperial Mayor Robert Amparano, the outgoing President of the Imperial Division of the Imperial County Division of the League of California Cities.
