Both said they were very aware of social media threats concerning schools in the county. They say the threats are being taken seriously and they are being investigated. Brawley said they are working with local, state and federal investigators along with the school districts. They assured the public that their priorities were the students, staff and faculty were safe. They both said the investigations were ongoing, and Brawley asked that anyone with any information to contact the Brawley Police Department. No other information was released.
