(September 9 is California Admissions Day)....It is a State Holiday.

It is the day California was admitted into the Union, becoming the 31st State of the United States in 1850. Calexico says they will be recognizing the holiday. On Monday Calexico City offices will be closed. The regular office hours will resume on Seoptember 10th.
