(Calexico will be celebrating Mexican Independence Day)...On September 10th the day will be commemorated with an International Poster Biennial Exhibit.

It is being sponsored by Calexico Recreation Department, Carmen Durazo Cultural Arts Center and the Mexican Consulate in Calexico. On the 10th, there will be live music and folkloric dancing from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Cultural Arts Center The Exhibition runs from September 10th to the 19th. Admission is free. On September 14th, Calexico will host a Grito at Crummett Park.
