(Tony Tirado has passed away)....He apparently died over the weekend.

Tony was born On January 22, 1941. His profession was with the US Postal Service. He made his name in local politics. His political career began when he was elected to the Calexico School Board. He moved on to the Calexico City Counci, where he served as Mayor.  Tirado was eventually elected to the County Board of Supervisors. Tirado was also a long-time member of the Calexico Baja Runners. Tirado also served as the Chairman of the local Democratic Party Central Committee. Services have not been announced.
