( The 3rd Heat Related Illness Update has been released)...The update is released by the County Public Health Department.

Heat Related illness has increase. But, heat related deaths remain at 3. So far this summer, there have been 7 cases of Heat Stroke, 45 cases of heat exhaustion and 21 cases of heat fatigue or dehydration. Information for the udate comes from El Centro Regional Medical Center, Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District and from the Imperial County Coroner's office.
