(Minor earthquake rocks the North County).....The US Geological Survey recorded a minor quake at 3:49 Thursday morning.

The magnitude 3.3 earthquake was centered 7.3 miles Southwest of Salton City. No damage or injury has been reported. The USGS said the quake hit in the open desert.
