(Cal Fire Says the Grove 2 Fire started at around 1 Wednesday afternoon)..The brush fire is in the wilderness area in the mountains north of Highway 78 in San Diego County.

Cal Fire says the fire spread quickly until nightfall. They say overnight, it slowed somewhat. The latest update says the fire has burned about 816 acres Northeast of Sunrise Summit. Ass of Thursday morning the fire was 10% contained. There have been several evacuations, with evacuation warnings issued for nearby locations. One injury has been reported. They currently have 232 personnel on scene, with 6 helicopters, 35 engines, 6 dozers combating the blaze.
